This resource is a handout that enables students to create their own money board game. It is useful for revising personal finance in PSHE. In Business studies it can be used to revise Marketing and Competition. Students will need paper, colouring pencils, sellotape and scissors to make the game.

This encourages students to think about what they are good at, what they need to improve on, the opportunities available to them and what might stop them achieving them. Very handy for PSHE, Drama or Business studies.

This little quiz helps you to think about your attitude to life and how you deal with people. Very useful in a PSHE, Drama or business context to get students reflecting on their attitudes.

This is a very interesting lesson that I used with students going to do work experience and learning BTEC, but it could be used with a wide range of age groups and could easily be adapted for adults too.

In this exercise two people have to say the same script, but try through body-language to convey different messages. Hilarious and really shows how much people communicate through non-verbal communication.

This assembly was to encourage year 10 to 11 who were feeling lethargic and just felt they were doing good enough. In this assembly, I show just how hard students in other parts of the world are working to get into a UK university. It had a very strong impact on my students and really helped them to understand why everyone wants them to work hard for their grades.

Please view the films before showing students, because they may not be suitable for all children. At the time I was teaching a fairly challenging set of children in Middlesbrough and wanted to show them that just because somebody is disabled it does not mean that they are not people and don't have fun! These worksheets teach students about the ratings systems for games and how appropriate different games are for children. These worksheets would be useful as part of a Games Design project in ICT and in PSHE and citizenship in teaching children to be responsible about what games they play.
